The Latitude Festival is a newly created annual music festival that takes place in Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk, England. The first Latitude Festival took place on the 14-16 July 2006.
Latitude is said to be more similar to continental European festivals; as well as a comprehensive bill of musicians, bands and artists across four stages - The Obelisk Arena, The Uncut Arena, The Sunrise Arena, and the Huw Stephens curated Lake Stage. The festival comprised elements of art, comedy, cabaret, poetry, politics and literature. The festival is run by Mean Fiddler Music Group, which also run Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds festivals.
Sigor Ros and Interpol have been confirmed to perform alongside Franz Ferdinand. Bill Bailey and Simon Amstell are confirmed for the comedy tent
